James has over 15 years experience in Television Production and Project Management, working with the ITV, BBC, Fox News and SKY. He has not only worked in the UK and Ireland, but also in other countres, including extensive work in the middle east. In 1997 James set up Dillon Productions, a company that specialised in offering high end, broadcast quality, video training content, both in an online and offline capacity. James has a proven ability to innovate, and in recent years has been at the leading edge of elearning content development, applying television techniques and management to the e-learning sector.
James has a wealth of knowledge and experience in designing and managing elearning projects, taking client briefs through all the stages of the elearning journey, from planning, storyboarding, development, implementation and evaluation. He is the founder & chairperson of Health Action Overseas (voluntary) which provides support, training and accommodation for special needs children in Romania, Albania and China over the past 18 years. This charity has contributed €5.8 million to these projects to date. He is a natural team player and project manager and brings out the very best in all those who have had the pleasure of working with him.
Many of Dillon Productions clients are long term clients and remain so because of the high quality product James insists on delivering and the very hands-on management and personal service James offers on all projects. Like a concert conductor, James is a master of pulling together all the different threads that make up a successful and high end elearning project. He thrives on sourcing and capturing new knowledge and information, and identifying and capturing expert insight to add extra layers to the elearning experience. As a project manager, James plays a active role in the analysis and design stage where he is able to identify areas that would be enhanced or benefit.
